With the money the club have raked in from the £47m and £50m sales of Juan Mata and David Luiz Mourinho is said to be mulling over an incredible £60m bid for the former Manchester United youngster.
They have already signed Spanish playmaker Cesc Fabregas in a £30m deal and striker Deigo Costa is expected to complete a move for similar money, but have plenty to spend, with Chelsea chiefs seeing Pogba as the perfect player to employ alongside Nemanja Matic.
Any potential transfer would eclipse the record fee they paid for Fernando Torres back in 2011, who they signed from Liverpool for an already staggering £50m.
The deal would incredibly also, according to Goal, make the French starlet the highest paid player at the club.
Pogba moved from Manchester United to Juventus two years ago on a free transfer, and has gone on to see his reputation grow into one of the best young talents on the planet.
He has claimed a first team berth and gone on to so far make 89 appearances for the Italians, scoring 14 goals, and is currently starring for France in Brazil, who swept through the group stages.
