Hull plan bids for Dawson and Ince
Hull City have set their sights on yet more signings this summer as Steve Bruce eyes deals for Michael Dawson and Thomas Ince, the Hull Daily Mail has said, after already tying up Jake Livermore.
Bruce splashed out a record transfer fee to make Livermore’s loan move to the KC Stadium permanent, spending £8m on the Englishman’s services, while a deal for Robert Snodgrass is said to be nearing completion too.
And now the Hull boss, who will see his Tigers battle on a European front as well as domestically thanks to their FA Cup final appearance, plans to make his move for his next two targets.
Once Snodgrass is snared by the club their spending will be set to top £16m already, but this has not deterred their plans.
Dawson will enter the last year of his current deal this season and it is thought that new man Mauricio Pochettino may look to offload the 30-year-old should he be able to sign his defensive targets – meaning Bruce will launch another raid on Spurs with a £4m bid.
The Hull boss also remains interested in free agent Tom Ince, who was on loan at Crystal Palace last season.
Under 21 international Ince left Blackpool at the end of the campaign after his contract expired and has expressed his desire to remain in the Premier League, having already turned down an offer from Inter Milan.
