Real Madrid have told the queue of English clubs that Argentinean winger Angel Di Maria will cost them a whopping £40m if he is to leave the Bernebeu this summer, according to the Metro.

Arsenal and Manchester United are all keeping tabs on the flying wide man who impressed during the Champions League final and now with Argentina in Brazil, and after recently admitting he is unsure where he will be playing next season put the host of clubs on alert.

Real previously took the stance that they would not be selling the 26-year-old who helped them claim a record 10th European title, but now appear to be willing to at listen to offers if they are big money.

However, any club wanting to take the player on will have to stump up a huge fee to come close to their £40m evaluation.

Many believe City could have the upper hand on their rivals in the pursuit of Di Maria – they already boast three Argentineans amongst their ranks in Sergio Aguero, Pablo Zabaleta and Martin Demichelis, all of whom are international colleagues of the player.

He has played 189 times for Madrid and scored 36 goals, but also created an impressive 87 more.

Di Maria is a quality player no doubt about him, bu I prefer Sanchez than Di Maria. They are all good players, but Sanchez is more trick and very technical than Di Maria, and his shooting power is very, he can also cread for other players and he can use individual talent as well, he has the shooting power and he can use force as well. We need someone up front like Sanchez. If you look on statistics, Sanchez is better than Di Maria.
