Ramsey looking to improve ahead of new season
Despite hitting 16 goals last season for his best scoring return, Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has said that he is keen to improve his game ahead of the 2014-15 campaign, reports Goal.com.
Although he picked up an injury which kept him out between February and the beginning of May, Ramsey still ended up as Arsenal’s second top scorer behind Olivier Giroud, and went on to score the winner in the FA Cup final as the club secured its first trophy for nine years.
The Welshman has suffered from a number of injuries so far in his short career, and he believes he proved some of the doubters wrong last term. He said: "I've been through a lot in my short career so far, I've had a bit of everything so it was nice to have a good season, score the number of goals that I did and be recognised a lot more.
"I've always believed in myself and what I can do, and I think a lot of people realised that last year and that's what I'm more happy about."
Arsenal have just begun their pre-season ahead of their latest tilt at the Premier League, which starts against Crystal Palace on August 16, and Ramsey added: "It's always important to get a good pre-season in you. I want to keep on working on my game. Hopefully I can keep improving and get better and better. That's my target now - just to improve on my game and keep on building every season."
