Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski could have revealed a move to Spanish club Sevilla FC is on the offing after posting on his Twitter account about the club, Football Espana is reporting.

Podolski has found himself on the fringes of the Arsenal first team in recent times and only made 20 Premier League appearances last season in comparison to the 33 in his debut campaign – scoring a total 19 goals in these 53 league outings.

With the arrival of Alexis Sanchez, alongside the recovery of both Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, he may find his opportunities limited even more so and could well look to move away from the Emirates this summer.

And the Germany World Cup winner tweeted “Road to Sevilla FC!” before the post was quickly deleted – but not in time for the image was seen and captured for people to see.

The post was made on Friday lunch time but is no longer there to be seen.

Sevilla claimed the Europa League title last season and will be keen to strengthen their squad ahead of the new La Liga season having finished fifth, just three points shy of fourth placed Athletico Bilbao.

And the Spanish side have already dipped into the Premier League to secure Spanish forward Iago Aspas on loan from Liverpool for next season.
