Inter considering swap deal for Man Utd’s Hernandez

Inter are said to be considering the possibility of offering midfielder Fredy Guarin to Manchester United in a swap deal which would see striker Javier Hernandez go the other way, according to the Daily Star.

Guarin is unlikely to have a future at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium, and has already reject offers to join Wolfsburg and Zenit St. Petersburg already this summer. Man Utd boss Louis van Gaal is reportedly keeping tabs on the Colombian, having made strengthening his midfield the top priority.

Hernandez has become unsettled at Old Trafford due to a lack of playing time. Often finding himself behind Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Danny Welbeck in the pecking order, the Mexican has been linked with several clubs both in England and in Europe, with Inter among the most interested parties

The Serie A club believe that the offer of a swap deal would work for both parties. They themselves are desperate to sign in a new striker during the transfer window, and Hernandez would leave Man Utd with an impressive record of 59 goals in 152 appearances over four years.
