Victor Moses poised for Stoke loan
Chelsea’s Victor Moses looks set to join Stoke City on a season long loan in an attempt to kick start a career that has faltered in recent years, the Daily Mail has reported.
Since joining the Blues from Wigan back in 2012 the Nigerian international has failed to break into the first team picture, making just 43 appearances in all competitions.
He was loaned to rivals Liverpool last summer but failed to make the impact that was expected at Anfield – and now finds himself on the verge of another spell away from Stamford Bridge.
Stoke had held a long term interest in Liverpool winger Oussama Assaidi but have failed to agree terms with the player.
And the potential deal for winger Moses could spell the end of their attempts to land the Moroccan on a permanent basis after the player spent last season at the Britannia Stadium on loan.
The deal would also represent the end of boss Mark Hughes transfer activity – Moses arrival would be the sixth through the club’s doors this summer, following the likes of Bojan Krkic and Mame Biram Diouf to the club.
