Title hopefuls Chelsea will be looking to follow up their impressive performance at Burnley by beating another promoted side in Leicester City.

The hosts looked strong and powerful as ever on Monday as they responded to the shock of going a goal behind early on. They also have some newfound incisiveness, and the quality that Cesc Fabregas brings to the Blues was highly evident from start to finish, with the Spaniard producing a man of the match display. Diego Costa also scored on his debut, in a display that was full of intent.

Leicester showed impressive fighting spirit as they came from behind twice to earn a hugely creditable draw against Everton. Several players seemed to cope well with the step-up in quality, with central defender Wes Morgan having the better of £28m Toffees striker Romelu Lukaku for most of the encounter. Despite that, this represents a much tougher test, but they will not arrive at Stamford Bridge with any fear.

For Chelsea, Ramires returns after serving a four-match ban which came into effect towards the end of last season. It ensures that manager Jose Mourinho now has a fully-fit squad available.

The visitors are without midfield duo Daniel Drinkwater and Matt James, so Dean Hammond is likely to start. Matthew Upson is also out, while Marc Albrighton and Jamie Vardy are both slight doubts.
