Play Heineken Star Player and win Chelsea vs Valencia Champions League tickets with A Different League

By Tim Doel

Monday 14 November 2011

A Different League has teamed up with Heineken’s fantastic in-play game Star Player, to create our own private league, with a great prize of a pair of tickets to Chelsea vs Valencia in the Champions League for the winner of our 25 person league.

What is Star Player?

Star Player is a real-time social television game, which asks your opinion of what will occur during key moments of the game: Will he score the free-kick? Will the corner be blocked? Will a goal be scored in the next 30 seconds? It enables the viewer to watch the game, yet show off their instinctive understanding of the game of football, to spot danger early on, and ultimately, to prove your instincts better than those of your friends.

You can play on your computer, via facebook, or by downloading the app for your iPhone, at http://apps.facebook.com/heinekenstarplayer/.

How to earn points:

Match moments: Corners, free-kicks and penalties give you the opportunity to show off your instincts about what is about to occur.
Bonus questions: At quiter moments of the game, quick-fire quiz questions are asked, and you earn more points the faster you answer correctly.
Goal in 30 seconds: The key to earn big points – see an opportunity on the counter attack? See your star striker unmarked at the back post? Press this button and you can earn points if they convert.

A Different League has just set-up a 25 person private league, for our fans and followers, with those fantastic Chelsea vs Valencia Champions League tickets as prize for the league winner. The two games from the midweek 22nd/23rd November that we will decide the winner from, will be: Napoli vs Man City on the Tuesday, and Bayer Lervekusen vs Chelsea.
