Mourinho wants to move back to Chelsea

By Bryan Waters

Friday 03 February 2012

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho is thinking of making a move back to Chelsea when his time at Madrid ends and is eager to finish what he started, The Daily Star reports. The former Blues boss won two Premier League titles at Stamford Bridge and has fallen out with Madrid players and fans, according to reports.

Mourinho now wants to quit the Santiago Bernabeau and return to England in the summer, where his preferred destination is Manchester United. The other option would be a move back to Stamford Bridge, where he was at the helm for Chelsea's most successful period in recent times. However, a move to Chelsea would see Mourinho demand to owner Roman Abramovich that he can take over full affairs and dismiss outside interference from the Russian.

The Madrid manager insists he has unfinished business at Chelsea, having not won the Champions League there despite triumphs with Inter Milan and Porto in his career. Abramovich may be interested in bringing back Mourinho after current boss Andre Villas-Boas' results this season. The Blues brought Villas-Boas in for a lot of money this summer, but the old guard at the club are not happy with his new ideals and there are rumours of exits from the club.

A source close to Mourinho said: 'He knows things are a mess there right now. He also knows it would be difficult to go back and make the same impact as before. Winning the Premier League title back to back in his first two years at a club that had not been champions for 50 years was incredible. That's why he's still loved by the fans and why he still loves the club. They were special days.'

'But before agreeing, he would want things very clear between him and Roman Abramovich. He would say 'Roman, you are the owner and I am the boss here. Let's work together and the power is in our hands'. For Jose that would be the perfect partnership', the source continued.

Mourinho,if you go back to the English premier league, why not go to one of the relegation threatened clubs, and prove how good you are as a manager! Why does it have to be one of the top four for you?????.I,m quite sure there are a number of English managers who would do well at one of the wealthy clubs, given the chance, and the financial backing that you have had! By the way you're still not as good as BENITEZ!
