Suarez offered exit from Liverpool

French side Paris Saint Germain are interested in offering Liverpool striker Luis Suarez an escape from England after his recent troubles, The Telegraph reports.

Suarez made his first start since his eight game ban for racially abusing Manchester United defender Patrice Evra at Old Trafford last weekend. The Uruguayan was universally condemned for refusing to shake the hand of Evra and Liverpool have released statements apologising for the behaviour of the striker.

Liverpool signed Suarez from Ajax in January 2011 and he has scored 13 times in 36 appearances for the Reds. The controversy surrounding the handshake could see Suarez look to leave Anfield and PSG are waiting in line to sign the Uruguayan international. PSG are backed by wealthy Qatari owners, who will pay more than the £22.8m Liverpool bought Suarez for, and the striker has friends with the Parisians.

Uruguayan captain Diego Lugano is already with PSG and that could influence Suarez to move to the French capital and escape the problems in England. The Reds have backed Suarez throughout the whole saga and the 25 year old could stay with Liverpool through gratitude for what they have done. Suarez is expected to feature when the Reds face Brighton in the fifth round of the FA Cup at Anfield.
