Coyle believes Miyaichi will be an Arsenal star
Bolton boss Owen Coyle believes that his on-loan signing Ryo Miyaichi will be a future star for Arsenal and can give Arsene Wenger some optimism, The Telegraph reports.
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere spent time at Bolton in the past on loan and blossomed into a good player, which Wenger is hopeful Miyaichi can do the same. The Japanese forward got off to a flying start for Bolton, scoring his first goal against Millwall in the FA Cup fifth round on Saturday. Coyle believes Miyaichi will be a great player for Wenger and can push for a first-team place in a difficult side to break through.
Coyle said: 'I would love to get him on a permanent basis but Arsène knows, as I do, that Ryo is going to have a terrific career at Arsenal. He can go very far in the game. When you consider the wide players Arsenal have, it was understandable that the boy had to go somewhere to play and Arsène felt the same. If we can give him the right platform, he can go back to Arsenal a far better player and ready to push for a first-team place.'
Miyaichi himself has spoken about the influence Thierry Henry and Robin Van Persie had on him at Arsenal and is looking forward to his time at the Reebok Stadium. The 19 year old said: 'At Arsenal, I saw many times Henry score the same way during training. Van Persie also did it on the opposite side. They showed me a very good example. The manager gave me a chance and I wanted to give him a big impression. It was a really important match for me, the atmosphere was amazing and it. It was unbelievable to score.'
