Tottenham chasing Juventus winger Krasic

Friday 13 April 2012

Tottenham Hotspur are one of a number of sides interested in the signing of Juventus winger Milos Krasic when the transfer window reopens this summer, the Daily Mail has reported. The newspaper adds that Spurs face competition from Premier League rivals Chelsea, amongst others.

Turkish outfit Fenerbahce are believed to have made an offer for the Serbia international, and the Mail puts the current price for the 27-year-old at around £10m. Tottenham were believed to be favourites to land the winger after lining up a loan move for the player in January, only for Krasic to reject the deal in order to remain in Italy, later admitting he regretted the decision.

Krasic has said he feels he has to leave Juventus in the summer in order to make a fresh start, having made only seven appearances for Antonio Conte’s side this season. In 2010-11, under the guidance of former Juve boss Luigi Delneri, Krasic featured on 39 occasions.
