Hazard reveals he's joining Chelsea
Belgian international winger Eden Hazard has announced that he will be joining Chelsea, after telling followers on his Twitter account "I'm signing for the Champion's League winner." So far there has not been any confirmation of the deal from either Chelsea or Lille.
Earlier on today Hazard had used his Twitter account to reveal: “I made up my mind. See you later”, raising the suspense over a transfer that has pitted the Premier League's most successful club in history against the Premier League winners and the Champinons League winners.
Hazard, 21, helped his club Lille to 3rd place in Ligue 1, and a place in the Champions League qualifiers last season, scoring 20 goals in 38 league appearances, and gaining many admirers in the process.
The attacking winger has reportedly been offered deals at Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea, but the player wanted time to consider his next move.
Hazard will not be involved in Euro 2012 as Belgium did not qualify, but will play his last game of the season against England in a friendly on Saturday.
