Sunday 24 June 2012

Juventus are lining up another attempt to sign Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, amid reports that the Premier League side are in need of some cash.

Reports from Tuttosport suggest that the Serie A champions are set to offer £14.5 million plus Milos Krasic in a offer they value at around £22 million.

The inclusion of the right winger Krasic comes after interest from for fomer Kop boss Kenny Dalgish, however now Brendan Rodgers is in charge it is unknown if the Anfield outfit are still interested in the Serbian.

Juventus have been keen on signing Suarez for a long time now and are hoping this latest offer will tempt the Merseyside outfit into letting the Uruguayan talk to the Turin club. The 25-year-old has been a big hit amongst the Liverpool faithful scoring 21 times in 52 games.

However, this report also surfaces at the same time as Liverpool are rumoured to be lining up an offer for Klaas Jan Huntelaar. Speculation mounting that Suarez could be sold to raise the funds to sign the Dutch striker.
