Manchester United step up interest in Dembele
Manchester United are poised to make a bid for Fulham midfielder Moussa Dembele, according to the People.
The Red Devils have made no secret of their desire to land a central midfielder this summer and Dembele seems to have impressed Sir Alex Ferguson with his form last season.
The Belgian was originally brought as a forward by the Cottagers, but Martin Jol used him in a deeper role in central midfield and the 25-year-old proved an excellent distributor of the ball and creative hub.
It is believed a fee of around £15m will be enough to land the player, who has only been at Fulham for two seasons after arriving from AZ Alkmaar for around £5m.
