Gunners want Sahin loan deal

Saturday 28 July 2012

Arsenal are looking to wrap up a season-long loan deal for Real Madrid benchwarmer Nuri Sahin, reports the Daily Mail.

Sahin has only been at the Bernabeu for a single season, with injuries and fierce competition restricting him to only a handful of appearances.

However, the Turk is regarded as one of Europe’s finest central midfielders following his impressive spell with Borussia Dortmund. The 23-year-old has been coveted by a number of clubs this summer, including Arsenal’s north London rivals Tottenham, but he had originally insisted he was happy with his bit-part role with Real.

But he has now reportedly come round to the idea of moving away for Bernabeu, favouring a possible loan deal.

Arsene Wenger has been coy in his interest for the Turkish midfielder but it is believed he has now made a move for the much sought after midfielder.
