Man City to loan winger Weiss to Pescara

Manchester City are set to send Vladimir Weiss on loan once again. According to the Daily Mail, the 22-year-old is on his way to Serie A new boys Pescara for his fourth loan spell away from the Etihad - Bolton, Rangers and Espanyol being the other three.

Weiss is a third generation footballer and had been hotly tipped to cause a storm in world football. But a lack of first team opportunities has seen the winger stall in his development, only managing five goals in 33 games last season in La Liga for Espanyol.

Despite this he remains a key figure in the Slovakia national squad, picking up 29 caps since debuting in 2009. His appearances include three out the four games Slovakia played at the World Cup in South Africa in 2010.

Pescara were promoted from Serie B as champions last season and are set to embark on their sixth stint in Italy’s top division.
