Friday 31 August 2012

Manchester City have signed Maicon, Scott Sinclair and Richard Wright all for under £10 million according to ESPN. They are speculated to be close to signing Javi Garcia and Matija Nastasic. Whilst Nigel de Jong has left the club for AC Milan.

Fulham have confirmed the singing of Dimitar Berbatov from Manchester United and

Kieran Richardson from Sunderland. The deal for the Bulgarian is a two-year contract according to Sky Sports, the fee thought to be in the region of £5 million.

Tottenham have sold Rafael van der Vaart to Hamburg for roughly £10 million according to the BBC. Hugo Lloris

is currently at the Spurs training grounds whilst the deal dubbed ‘impossible’ by Andre Villas-Boas for Joao Moutinho has seen a £22 million bid accepted before Sky Sports reported the transfer hitting a snag regarding personal terms.

Elsewhere both Charlie Adam and Maurice Edu have signed for Stoke and the club have been linked with several other deals. Niklas Bendtner has moved to Juventus on a one-year loan deal and Swansea have replaced Sinclair with Valencia’s Pablo Hernandez.

With just five hours to go there are still plenty of transfers that can happen. Fernando Torres, Dimitar Berbatov, Robinho and Mikel Arteta are all players who changed clubs at the eleventh hour on deadline day.
