Chelsea vs Stoke - Match preview and team news

Chelsea look to get back to winning ways on Saturday against a Stoke City side that are yet to record a victory in the Premier League this season, yet remain unbeaten.

The Blues have gone three games without a victory, starting with their European Super Cup defeat to Atletico Madrid three weeks ago. Draws away to Queens Park Rangers and home to Juventus in the Champions League then followed. The form will not likely worry manager Roberto Di Matteo too much, as his side remain top of the table.

Stoke City have drawn all four league games this season, including against two contenders for the title, in Arsenal and Manchester City.

Manager Tony Pulis is without Andy Wilkinson in defence, who is suspended, while Jamie Ness could make a return in midfielder. New signing Michael Owen will likely settle for a place on the bench as he returns to full fitness.

For Chelsea, Fernando Torres heads a familiar strikeforce, flanked by Juan Mata and Eden Hazard. Oscar, who picked up an ankle injury in midweek against Juventus, will miss out.
