Tottenham Hotspur are said to be lining up a January move for Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha, the Daily Mirror has reported.

Wilfried Zaha

Spurs are understood to face competition from Arsenal and Liverpool for the 19-year-old, but the Mirror claims the White Hart Lane side are at a more advanced stage of their pursuit, potentially ready to make a bid for the 19-year-old.

The newspaper adds that Palace would seek a fee in the region of £8m for their youth academy product, while Tottenham Head Coach Andre Villas-Boas is desirous of back-up and competition for Gareth Bale and Aaron Lennon.

Zaha can play as a winger or a striker and hit nine goals last season and bagged his first couple of the new campaign earlier this week against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Zaha has made just over 100 appearances for the Eagles, scoring 12 goals in the process, as well as winning a handful of caps for England U-21s.
