Tottenham line-up £10m Marin
Tottenham could make a surprise deadline day move for Werder Bremen midfielder Marko Marin, according to The Telegraph.

Marin, 22, plays as a winger for Bremen, and could provide back-up for both Gareth Bale and Aaron Lennon. The Serbian born German international contract with Werder Bremen is rumoured to be close to expiry, but none-the-less it may require an offer of at least £10 million to prise him away, with the German side preferring to renew the contract rather than sell.
Any transfers today could also depend on whether Spurs succeed in shipping out players, with Sebastian Bassong, Roman Pavlyuchenko, Stephen Pienaar, Vedran Corluka and Giovani Dos Santos all being linked with last minute moves away. However, some of these have been scuppered by chairman Daniel Levy’s high asking prices, so all four could still remain at White Hart Lane upon the close of the transfer window.
