Chelsea move for next Hazard

Saturday 09 June 2012

Not content with signing Eden Hazard, the Belgian playmaker wanted by a host of European clubs including Premier League rivals Manchester United and Manchester City, Chelsea are set to move for the player tipped to take over from the former Lille player one day, 15-year-old Anderlecht midfielder Charley Musonda, the Daily Mail has reported.

Musonda is said to have held talks with Arsenal during a recent visit to London and has also been scouted by Manchester City, but Chelsea are now expected to be the destination for the three Musonda brothers, Charley, Tika and Lamisha.

The trio’s father, Charley Sr., was a Zambian international as well as a player for Anderlecht, the club at which he still works, and Charley Musonda is said by the Mail to be the brightest prospect of the Musonda brothers.

Hazard, meanwhile, officially joined Chelsea last week in a transfer worth £32m, according to the newspaper, after weeks of speculation over his future.
