Every morning A Different League searches the nations press to bring you the latest goings on at Arsenal. Today:

Premier League squad named.
Arsenal have named seven ‘home-grown’ players in their 20-man squad for this season's Premier League, according to Goal.com. Regulations state a minimum of eight must be named in each club's 25-man squad, but as Arsenal have named only 20 they are permitted to include less. Players under the age of 21 do not need to be named in the squad as they can be included any time, hence why players such as Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere are not named. Cesc Fabregas falls into the ‘nurtured home-grown’ category as he has been trained by the club for more than three years, before the age of 21.
Gunners move for Japanese youngster.
Arsenal are rumoured to be plotting a move for Japanese wonderkid Ryo Miyaichi. The 17-year-old impressed on trial at the north London club last month, having previously shown good form at the U-17 World Cup in Nigeria in 2009. The Daily Mail claims that sources at Chukyodai Chuyko High School - the school Miyaichi attends - believe Arsenal officials are set to fly out to discuss a preliminary contract. It is then thought he will sign a four year deal during the January transfer window.
Nasri on verge of return.
Arsene Wenger's selection headache has been issued some pain relief with the news that fellow Frenchman Samir Nasri has returned to training ahead of schedule, reports The Daily Mirror. The Gunners boss had previously indicated that Nasri was recovering ahead of schedule after having knee surgery two weeks ago. It is even thought that the winger could be fit to return to first team action for their next match against Bolton on September 11. The news means that Nasri has left Robin van Persie and Nicklas Bendtner behind on the injury table.
