Arsenal news - Wenger set for Q&A session, Sagna denies French captaincy, Dixon backs Walcott
Every morning A Different League searches the nations press to bring you the latest goings on at Arsenal. Today:

Wenger set for Q&A session.
Arsene Wenger is set to face a grilling by Arsenal shareholders and fans after agreeing to hold a Q&A session with them on September 16, according to Goal.com. The last time Wenger arranged such a session it ended in near-disaster, following some questions and comments Wenger described as “disgraceful.” Fans are likely to want to know exactly why Arsenal failed to land a new goalkeeper despite possessing the finances with which to do so. The annual Q&A was scheduled for May, but was postponed to the start of the new season after last year's debacle in the hopes that supporters would be in a more positive frame of mind.
Sagna denies French captaincy.
Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has brushed off rumours he is to be named the new France captain, according to Goal.com. The 27-year-old right-back has insisted he will concentrate on passing on his knowledge and experience to the younger players in the France camp, though he did concede he considered himself a candidate due to his regular selection. Speaking to L'Equipe, he said: “My role is to defend the colours of the France team, not worry about that [captaincy]. As a player called regularly, yes, I think I could be a candidate.”
Dixon backs Walcott.
Arsenal legend Lee Dixon has spoken out in support of under-fire winger Theo Walcott. Writing for The Independent, he stated that he does not feel the youngster works his full-back often enough, and this could be the primary source for recent criticism. Dixon stated, however, that Walcott's intelligence will allow him to learn the tricks of a winger's trade, and feels that in time he will develop into an important player, both for Arsenal and England. Walcott has previously stated he will let his football do the talking as he attempts to answer his critics.
