Jason Euell makes Charlton return

By Tom Bowers

Wednesday 10 August 2011

League One promotion-chasers Charlton Athletic have completed the signing of Jason Euell.

The striker made 155 appearances for the Addicks between 2001 and 2006 and has penned a one-year deal following appearances against Woking and Bromley in pre-season.

It's been a summer of great change at The Valley with Euell becoming manager and former team-mate Chris Powell's 16th new signing.

Euell has promotion experience playing an integral role in Blackpool's rise to the Premier League and the 34-year-old will be keen to help the Addicks build on their great start to the League One season after beating Bournemouth 3-0 on Saturday.
