Pulis uninterested in Stoke City criticism
 Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has lambasted critics of his side’s style of play and said that he does not ‘give a damn’ what anyone outside of the club say.
Pulis has drawn critics for the physical approach and the way midfielder Rory Delap is deployed as a long throw expert. Stoke’s manager is unconcerned what outsiders say and believes that the best way to last for a long time in management is to ignore the critics.
‘I don’t care what people think about the style of play. I don’t give a damn what people outside of the football club say. If you let yourself get affected by what too many people say, then you won’t last long in this job. You’ve got to make sure that you’re very single-minded, you’re very observant of what you’ve got and get the best out of that’, Pulis said.
The Stoke boss also added that the only important thing is whether the fans enjoy the style of play, which is reinforced by the fact that Stoke have gone from having 11,000 crowds to selling out the Britannia Stadium every single week.
