Young focusing on Man United double

Manchester United winger Ashley Young believes that the club have to win the Premier League and Europa League to count the season as a success, Sky Sports reports.

The Premier League champions crashed out of the Champions League at the group stages and were thrown into the Europa League with a tough tie against Dutch champions Ajax. Young's goal, as well as a late Javier Hernandez strike, gave United a 2-0 victory in the Amsterdam Arena and have set Sir Alex Ferguson's men up with a good chance of progressing. The England international feels it is crucial that United win the trophies they are left in, after their exit from the domestic cups, and have a great chance of doing well.

Young said: 'Winning the title race and winning this competition is what we would consider a successful season. That's what we're involved in and that's what we do. Every game is going to be a tough game from here. As long as we go out there, concentrate on ourselves and produce the sort of performances that have been coming in the last few weeks - if we take all the positives out of those games then hopefully at the end of the season it will be good enough to win the title.'

United signed the 26 year old from Aston Villa this summer, but Young has been out with an knee injury since December and returned at the start of February. Young is enjoying his time at Old Trafford and believes that it is easy to immerse yourself in the Manchester United way once you start training with the club.
