Sochaux winger claims Liverpool interest
Sochaux winger Ryad Boudebouz has listed Liverpool among the teams interested in taking the Algerian international away from the Ligue 1 side, reports DZFoot.
The 22-year-old has impressed this season for his club side, helping them to a comfortable mid-table finish, but the 10 times capped Algerian has revealed he may be set for an exit, with a move to the Premier League a potential option, if comments made by the player to the French media are to believed:
“Certainly, my agent is in talks with some clubs, particularly in France, but there is nothing concrete. There is also Liverpool, who have started discussions with my agent, but at the risk of repeating myself, everything is in the discussion stage only at the moment.”
Liverpool are currently without a manager, having sacked Kenny Dalglish, but are currently in talks with Wigan boss Roberto Martinez about taking over at Anfield. Boudebouz can play on either wing, as well as in attacking midfield, and if he were to move to Liverpool, would provide extra competition for the same positions with another Ligue 1 player crossing the chammel this summer, Joe Cole, whose loan to Lille will come to an end.
