Liverpool interested in Roma striker
Brendan Rodgers is lining up a reunion with former Chelsea protégé, Fabio Borini.

According to reports from the Gazzetta dello Sport in Italy, the new Liverpool boss is keen on bringing the 21-year-old back to England after he was let go by the European Champions last year.
The Italian striker was picked up by Parma before being loaned out to Roma where he scored 9 goals in 24 appearances. But Rodgers will know all too well what Borini is capable of, not only did the Welshman manage the striker in the Chelsea youth squad but he took him on loan to Swansea in their playoff winning season.
Whilst in South Wales, Borini netted 6 times in 9 game helping Swansea become the first ever-Welsh team to be promoted to the Premier League. But he opted for a move back to his native Italy that summer.
A deal in the region of £9.5 million pounds is being reported but as yet there has not been official contact. Borini is currently on international duty with Italy at the European Championships.
