Swansea target Denmark striker Krohn-Dehli

Saturday 23 June 2012

New Swansea boss Michael Laudrup is looking at fellow countryman Michael Krohn-Dehli to be his first signing for the club.

According to The Sun, the former Danish international was impressed by the Brondby Midfielder at the European Championships and is keen to bring him to South Wales.

Krohn-Dehli found the net twice at Euro 2012 before Denmark were eliminated on the final round of group fixtures – including the match winning goal against the Netherlands on their opening day.

The 29-year-old signed for Brondby in 2008 – where he spent some of his youth career- after a disappointing spell at Dutch side Ajax where he only played four times and was loaned out for a season to Sparta Rotterdam. But he has gone on to make 116 appearances for the Danish side, scoring on 26 occasions from midfield.

Debuting for Denmark in 2006, Krohn-Dehli has since played 24 times for his country, scoring 6 goals in the process.
