Saturday 30 June 2012

Everton and Fulham are thought to be in the hunt for Beskitas player Tomas Sivok after the Turkish club released him.

The Daily Mail are reporting that the two Premier League clubs are keen on the Czech defender, especially as he is available on a free transfer.

Sivok has been known to play in both holding midfield as well as at the heart of defense. He played 98 league games for Beskitas since signing in 2008 and managed to get himself 8 goals in that time.

Making his debut for the Czech Republic in 2005, he has played 30 times for his country including a number of strong performances at Euro 2012 this summer, in which the Czechs were knocked out by Portugal in the quarter-finals.

Everton and Fulham are said to be leading the chase for the 28-year-old but they aren’t the only ones interested in signing the defensively minded international player.
