Balotelli worth £200m says agent

Monday 02 July 2012

Mario Balotelli – the £200 million striker, according to his agent Mino Raiola.

A report from the Independent has Raiola expressing how much he thinks his client is worth and why. Balotelli has never been shy from expressing how good he thinks he is but his agent now believes that the striker has backed up those words.

Raiola said: “I have always said that Mario Balotelli is one player that could become the strongest in the world. He is probably amongst the strongest in Europe. How much is he worth? He is worth what the market says, he’s one that can make a difference. In the actual market I don’t think there is a value for him but if I had to give a price I would say he is worth €250 million.”

The charismatic attacker has been in the headlines a lot recently but for all the right reasons. His performances at Euro 2012, specifically against Germany, have had many praising him, suggesting that he is ‘finally maturing’ and ‘reaching his potential’.

Unfortunately for the Italian, he was unable to cap off a rollercoaster season by winning the European Championships last night but having scored 3 goals and already winning the Premier League he has little to hang his head about.

The most expensive transfer in history was that of Cristiano Ronaldo, former Ballon D’or winner, to Real Madrid in 2010 for £80 million.
