Arsenal news - Coyle attacks Wenger, Clichy Fabregas advice, Tour pressure
Every morning A Different League searches the nations press to bring you the latest goings on at Arsenal. Today:

Tour pressure.
Arsene Wenger has admitted that Arsenal are under pressure to go on a money spinning pre-season tour next year – but not at the expense of players’ leisure time, according to Mirror Football. The Gunners are one of the few Premier League clubs which do not generally partake in high profile tours to the US, Asia or Oceana, with the Frenchman instead opting for low-key pre-season training in Austria. Majority shareholder Stan Kroenke is thought to be after a tour to the US next year in a move which is likely to set Wenger on a collision course with the club’s Board once again. Speaking at the Shareholders’ Q&A last night, Wenger said: “I am under pressure from the club to do it. But I want to start the season well. If it is just to make money, then no – and not in Euro or World Cup years. International players, under FIFA rules, must have four weeks' holiday.”
Clichy Fabregas advice.
Cesc Fabregas has been urged to commit his long-term future to the Emirates and end all speculation regarding the World Cup winner’s future, according to The Telegraph. The 23-year-old’s Arsenal team mate, Gael Clichy, played alongside Fabregas in the 6-0 demolition of Braga on Wednesday night, and witnessed a masterful performance from the Spaniard. He said: “People were saying after the summer that he may be somewhere else but now he is showing he is a true professional,” before continuing: “It’s not easy to forget what happened but once he is fully fit we know he is ready to play, we’re happy to have him and we want him to stay for many years.”
Coyle attacks Wenger.
Bolton manager Owen Coyle has accused Arsene Wenger of having double standards after the Frenchman’s criticism of Paul Robinson, reports Sky Sports. The former Burnley boss was incensed after Wenger’s comment that Robinson should have been punished for the challenge on Abou Diaby which will see the Gunners midfielder miss the next two matches. Coyle claimed that youngster Kieran Gibbs could have just as easily been punished for catching Kevin Davies, and pointed to last season where then-Arsenal player William Gallas escaped without punishment for a challenge on Mark Davies which was described as “assault.” The comments come after Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce accused Wenger of trying to influence referees via the media, alleging it was an effort to make his Arsenal players “untouchable".
