Arsenal news - Hangeland deal possible, Wenger in trouble, Braga praise
Every morning A Different League searches the nations press to bring you the latest goings on at Arsenal. Today:

Wenger in trouble.
Arsene Wenger could face FA punishment following the journey to Sunderland, according to Goal.com. The Professsor has branded both of Alex Song’s yellow cards as “harsh”, and his behaviour is believed to have been a constant vocal point throughout the encounter. A victory would have put Arsenal temporarily top of the table, but Wenger was seen to have handled fourth official Martin Atkinson. Wenger also seemed to express his displeasure at the amount of injury time added, which proved decisive thanks to Darren Bent’s 95th-minute equaliser.
Hangeland deal possible.
Fulham defender Brede Hangeland is being tipped to leave Craven Cottage, according to Goal.com. Fellow Norwegian Morten Gamst Pedersen has said that it is of little surprise that his 29-year-old international team mate could be seeking a future away from the Cottagers, following reports of rumoured interest from Arsenal. Pedersen told Sky Sports: “It is no shock clubs like Arsenal have been linked with him. There was talk about whether he would go with Roy Hodgson to Liverpool. He is a fantastic player and a fantastic person. I think that he will get a bigger club.”
Braga praise.
One of Arsenal’s Champions League foes has wished the Gunners good luck in Europe this season, according to Mirror Football – but not at their own expense, Braga midfielder Alan has tipped the Reds to go all the way in Europe’s top flight this season following the 6-0 demolition over the Portuguese runners up this week. Captain Cesc Fabregas was in fine form, but Alan, 30, said: “It was a bad night. We can already see that Arsenal are serious candidates to win the Champions League. There are still five games to go and we can still qualify from this group. We have lost the battle but not the war. Braga defender Moises believes the Arsenal attack was like a hurricane and they had no answers in stopping their strikers.”
