Every morning A Different League searches the nations press to bring you the latest goings on at Arsenal. Today:

Wenger labelled a hypocrite.
Tony Pulis has continued his bitter war of words with Arsene Wenger by declaring “you are a hypocrite.” The Stoke boss has been involved in a tug-of-war of words with the Frenchman ever since youngster Aaron Ramsey was injured in a match against the Potters last season, and recently had to defend claims by the Professor that his side adopted rugby tactics in their matches. Wenger yesterday said he had the right to declare bad fouls irrespective of who makes them and that opposing managers (referencing Pulis and Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce) should not take his comments personally. According to The Express, Pulis said: “I do not take the comments of Arsene personally. I look back seven or eight years to when they had the worst record in the Premier League and he couldn’t see a tackle from a mile away – or from an inch away, for that matter.”
Squillaci ready to impress.
A report in The Sun this morning states that new Arsenal defender Sebastien Squillaci believes the fans are yet to see the best of him. He looks set to return to the side for today’s visit of West Brom, and said: “I have my best years ahead of me. I had a nasty ankle injury last season, but I am feeling really well now. I look old here at 30 with all the young players, but I'm motivated to do well.”
Gunners host West Brom.
Arsene Wenger has warned his team not to take things for granted when the Gunners host West Brom this afternoon. After a dodgy start to the campaign which saw them lose 6-0 to Chelsea on the opening day, the Baggies have started to improve and also knocked high-flying Man City out of the Carling Cup earlier this week. According to The Belfast Telegraph, Wenger said: “We are very, very cautious before this game, because we expect West Brom to play a good football game. What is important is we keep the momentum going and we can only do that if we are on full cylinders.”
