And there it is, the full draw. United got the most difficult team from Pot 4, German Champions Wolfsburg, but a very comfortable group nonetheless. In fact, most of Britain’s representatives could have had it a lot worse – Chelsea have ended up with the toughest test, but Rangers will be ultimately pleased at being in Group G. A group the Scots could well qualify from – they will look at Stuttgart and Unirea for results.

Just one pot remains and already Arsenal and Manchester United will be fancying their chances in their respective groups, pot 3 did not bring many problems. Chelsea’s group looks increasingly more difficult but spare a thought for poor Marseille, stuck with trips to the San Siro and the Bernebeu…

How’s that for a nice draw for United? Arsenal not half bad either. Liverpool and Chelsea face potentially tricky games, but they avoided the big ones and will most definitely be happy.

Huge stories from Pot 2 draw – Eto’o and Ibrahimovic face their old clubs with their new ones when Barcelona face Inter twice. And of course, the small matter of Kaka’s return to the San Siro with Real Madrid. Mouth-watering European football already.

The big one, Real… with AC Milan, what a story for Kaka

… John Terry to help draw Pot 2. Chelsea fans will hope he is kind and doesn’t give them Real Madrid… Or Juventus, Or Inter, for that matter.

First seeds being drawn… And there they are. Be afraid Pots 2-4, be very afraid. Like the sound of B, Rob?

We will see Rob… some tricky teams in Pot 2! Inter, Juve? Even Atletico down there in Pot 3, not easy at all.

And Melanie… Winiger… kicks off the show, not long now!

How about this for a potential group… Manchester United, Real Madrid, Bordeaux and Wolfsburg? There is always one group of death.
