Manchester United winger Nani has encouraged boss Sir Alex Ferguson to sign up Sporting Lisbon midfielder Miguel Veloso.
In an exclusive interview with The Republik of Mancunia, Nani said how “It would be nice if Ferguson brought one friend from Sporting Lisbon. That would be fantastic for me. Maybe Miguel Veloso. He would be good.”
The 23 year-old Sporting midfielder has attracted interest from many big teams in Europe, being heavily linked with Arsenal and Inter in particular. It is thought that the player could leave Portugal after the World Cup, and his father told Calcionews24 recently: “Will he leave in the summer? I don’t know. The club and his agent will deal with that.”
