Arsenal fight Juventus and AC Milan in hunt for £10m Roma defender.

Arsenal are ready to make a £10m move for Roma’s french defender Philippe Mexes, according to reports in the Daily Mail. They face tough competition in the form of Milan and Juventus.

Wenger Set to Make Move for Everton’s Jagielka.

The Sunday Mirror claims that Phil Jagielka will be lined-up as the long-term replacement of William Gallas, in a deal worth £15m, although they face a tough time convincing Everton manager David Moyes to accept such a deal.

Melo aware of Arsenal interest.

Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo is aware of interest from Arsene Wenger, about bringing the Brazilian to Arsenal in a deal worth around £15m. Melo said how “I have heard about the interest of Arsenal, once again, but there is nothing concrete. The only certainty is that I still have a four-year contract with Juventus and Juventus fans have a great affection for me, so I want to win a title for them.”
