Italy World Cup 2010 squad down to 28 – Grosso and Candreva miss out

Marcello Lippi announced his 28 man squad to go the mountain training camp at Sestriere before the World Cup. The list excludes two big names, who will now be out of the running for a World Cup place, in Juventus duo Fabio Grosso and Antonio Candreva. With Salvatore Sirigu set to drop out for the final 23 as 4th goalkeeper, it leaves four more names to be taken out to make the final 23.
