Terry injured and could be out for the World Cup

Sky News is reporting that England and Chelsea defender John Terry has suffered a broken metatarsal, and could be a doubt for the World Cup in South Africa.

The Chelsea captain was rushed to hospital this afternoon after going down in training, and Fabio Capello and the England staff are anxiously waiting for further indications of how serious it may be.

The official Chelsea website said that “John Terry has today taken a knock in training and has gone to hospital for a precautionary scan on his right foot.” Results are expected on Thursday.
