Arsenal And Tottenham Hotspur Set To Battle For Signature Of Dynamo Kiev Star Pape Diakhate.

According to reports on Goal.com UK, Tottenham and Arsenal are both interested in Dinamo Kiev centre-back Pape Diakhate. Stuttgart and Marseille are also in the reckoning. The Senegalese defender was unable to complete a permanent move with Saint-Etienne, where he was on loan last season, and is set to cost £6.8m.

Tottenham Hotspur Ahead Of Arsenal And Liverpool In Race To Sign Galatasaray Ace Arda Turan.

Spurs are ahead of Arsenal and Liverpool in attempts to buy Galatasaray winger Arda Turan, according to reports in Turkey. A deal is rumoured to have already been completed, for £4m plus Giovanni dos Santos, the Mexican flair player who has failed to settle in England.

Carlo Cudicini signs new Tottenham contract diminishing David James’ chances of joining.

The chances of David James completing a much talked about move to Spurs have all but diminished, after Italian back-up Carlo Cudicini was handed a new contract. A Spurs spokesman said: “We are delighted at how well Carlo has progressed. He has shown a great deal of self discipline and motivation to come back from this.”
