Real Madrid midfielder Guti is keen on a move to Blackburn Rovers having been persuaded by his old friend Michel Salgado. Salgado, who enjoyed a reasonable season with Rovers last year, has been in talks with his former colleague at the Bernabeu and has convinced the 33 year-old that a move to Ewood would be good for him.
The Sun claims that Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce would be willing to make Guti the best paid player in Blackburn’s history, however Big Sam’s first priority is a striker, therefore this sensational swoop may have to wait until a forward has been purchased first.
