Italian giants Juventus and Roma, according to the Mirror, are chasing William Gallas. Gallas looks set to leave Arsenal for Italy after his contract finished with the London club. Gallas, currently on international duty with France, has already received a contract offer from Roma, whereas discussions with Juventus are at an advanced stage.
Juventus are looking to replace Fabio Cannavaro and see Gallas as the ideal player to fit the bill. However, the Frenchman is pushing for a three year contract at the club, which is proving somewhat of a stumbling block as the Italians are unwilling to offer such a lengthy contract to a 33 year old. Nevertheless, Juve still believe a deal is still reachable.
