King out of England clash with Algeria

tottenham defender Ledley King has been ruled out of England’s match against Algeria on Friday through injury, according to Eurosport. Ledley King partnered ex-captain John Terry at the centre of the defence, but needed to be replaced at half-time by Liverpool man Jamie Carragher. Capello said the Spurs player will not be fit to play in England’s next game in Group C on Friday: ‘The doctor told me had some problems with his abductor (muscle) – he will not fit be for next game.’ It is expected that Carragher will start the game ahead of Michael Dawson or Matthew Upson, the other defensive options.
