Dos Santos has Spurs future.
Giovani Dos Santos may still have a future at White hart Lane despite struggling to establish himself at White Hart Lane. After a disappointing start for Tottenham, Dos Santos was loaned to Ipswich Town and then Galatasary, but after an outstanding World Cup in South Africa with Mexico, Redknapp insists he still has plans for the 21-year-old who could play a major part in Spurs’ Champions League campaign next season. He told Talksport: “He’s had a great World Cup. If he knuckles down this year he could be a top player.”
Chase on for Assulin.
Tottenham have already locked on to Barcelona throw out Gai Assulin according to the Daily Mail. Assulin, 19, shot to stardom in the pre-season tournament last year against Spurs and Al-Ahly, but flunked domestically at the Camp Nou where he struggled against the plethora of world-class players. Arsenal and Real Madrid have also caught wind of his availability, but Tottenham lead the chase after contacting his representatives and are considering a deal.
Leon cold on Spurs move.
Tottenham target Pedro Leon is reportedly on his way to Real Madrid according to Spanish Daily Marca. The Getafe winger’s name is also said to be on the star-studded wanted list of Manchester City, but Real Madrid officials have already agreed a deal with Getafe president Angel Torres and only wait for the return of Jose Mourinho for the deal to be finalised. Tottenham’s chances were quickly extinguished when the 23-year-old said he did not want to move to England.
