Hunterlaar still an option.

Olympique Marseille have become the latest team to be rejected by Klaas-Jan Huntelaar with an alluring £12.4 million offer. Tottenham are yet to proffer anything for the Dutch international but have not yet abandoned all hope of securing him this summer. Huntelaar has said he would rather join Bayern Munich where he would be reunited with his former manager Louis van Gaal.

Spurs join Honda interest.

The Rising Sun of Japanese football Keisuke Honda could be on his way to any one of Europe’s biggest clubs according to his agent Kees Ploegsma. A number of high-profile clubs have shown interest in the 24-year-old after a string of outstanding performances for his country in the World Cup. Tottenham and Liverpool have both expressed their interest in Honda, who at present plays his club football for CSKA Moscow.

Arsenal ahead in Tasci chase.

Arsenal may beat arch -rivals Tottenham Hotspur to Stuttgart defender Serdar Tasci according to The Sun. The 23-year-old is currently in South Africa with Germany where he and his team are preparing for their semi-final encounter against Spain tonight. Tasci has said he would be interested in a move to the Premier League and is a great admirer of Arsene Wenger, but until the German team return from international duties, both clubs will have to wait in the wings.
