Hernandez deserves starting place.
Sir Alex Ferguson has declared that it would be difficult to omit Javier Hernandez from United’s starting line up.
“He’s keeping his place in the team because he deserves to keep his place in the team,” Ferguson told the Daily Mail, before saying of the young Mexican “We’re all pleased with him, everyone around the club is excited because he’s done really well. He’s got desire and he trains well.”
With Wayne Rooney out for the foreseeable future, the form of ‘the little pea’ will be reassuring to everyone at the club
van der Saar plans to continue.
Edwin van der Sar has announced that he will know when to retire, but for the moment he is just enjoying his football.
“Every morning I still want to get out of bed and go to work. Otherwise I wouldn’t still be doing it,” The Dutchmen told the Daily Express.
The goalkeeper said, “The moment you are not enjoying yourself and it is hard to get the motivation then it will be time to finish,” but reassured fans, “I am still enjoying it. Coming to Old Trafford gave me a new lease of life.”
Hargreaves injury returns.
Owen Hargreaves has fallen behind in his recovery from a knee injury once again.
Hopes were high at Old Trafford that the England international would be fit enough to make a return to the side, but Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that will not be happening just yet.
“He was making good progress when he first came back, but that seems to have stalled a bit and he is back with the physios now,” Sir Alex told the Manchester Evening News.
The player has barely played for two years and there are concerns about the player ever making a full recovery from his injuries.
