Reports in the Independent claim Harry Redknapp is among a list to become the next England manager. According to the Football Association, Redknapp is on a long list to replace Fabio Capello.
Redknapp has been a favourite to replace the Italian since the 2010 World Cup in South Africa but concerns over Tottenham’s recent away form may put doubts into the FA’s heads when Capello is expected to resign after the Euro 2012 Championships.
Pressure rising on Crouch.
Peter Crouch is under some pressure in a Tottenham shirt. Mail Online says that the lanky striker is struggling in the Premier League in recent times, with just one goal in 11 starts.
It’s a record which saw over 4000 away fans at St Andrews this weekend screaming for Roman Pavlyuchenko to replace the England striker after Crouch missed two glorious chances.
Europe is another story though, with Crouch scoring six goals, but with Bale and Lennon down the wings, questions are being raised among supporters as to why the big striker is failing to turn his league fortunes.
Keane exit in January.
Robbie Keane’s future at White Hart Lane is in continuous doubt after Harry Redknapp revealed it is very likely the Irish international will leave the club next month.
Crunch Sports reveals that Redknapp is not interested by letting Keane out on loan, and that whoever offers the most for the 30-year-old former Liverpool striker will be the victors in capturing his services.
Keane has been receiving interest from Aston Villa, Fulham as well as side in MLS and it may seem the Republic of Ireland captain could sway toward America as he nears the end of his career.
