Bolton begin Chelsea Sturridge talks

Bolton have already begun talks with Chelsea over taking striker Daniel Sturridge on loan next season, the Daily Mirror report.

Trotter’s manager Owen Coyle is so impressed with the Blues’ striker scoring two goals in as many games, they are making enquiries into an extension to his loan agreement that would keep the player at the club throughout next season as well.

With the arrival of Fernando Torres, Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti cannot guarantee first team football for the 21-year-old next term, and the Blues could be willing to allow the striker to get more experience of the Premier League before reintroducing him to first team football.

Sturridge has scored nine goals in 41 games for the Stamford Bridge side.
